To get from Faro Airport to Alvor via the A22 motorway, follow these directions:
1. Exit Faro Airport: Upon leaving the airport, follow signs for N125 (Faro direction) and then take the exit for the A22 Motorway (Via do Infante), heading west towards Portimão/Lagos.
2. Take the A22 Motorway: Merge onto the A22 Motorway (Via do Infante) heading west.
3. Continue on the A22: Stay on the A22 for approximately 65 km (around 40 miles), heading toward Portimão.
4. Exit for Alvor: Take Exit 5 for Alvor/Portimão.
5. Follow signs to Alvor: After exiting, follow the signs for Alvor, and you will continue onto the N125 road towards Alvor.
6. Arrive in Alvor: Follow the road into the town of Alvor. The total drive time is approximately 50-60 minutes, depending on traffic.
7. You will drive firstly through Montes de Alvor, then you will arrive into Alvor. Keep driving straight. You will come to your first roundabout, go straight over, up the hill. At the bottom of the hill, you will take your left.
8. On the left, you will see a small supermarket called Intermarche, keep driving up the hill, over the next roundabout.
9. You will pass a fuel station on the right and a large supermarket on the left.
10. Vila Marachique complex is on the right, turn in and take your first right, follow the road down to the bottom to Lote 5.
The A22 motorway offers a fast and easy route to Alvor, ensuring a smooth drive from Faro Airport.
